Here's the perfect place to enjoy the fun and invigorating water recreation on the popular Medina River without having to fight the crowds! The Vintage River Cabin features not only a private Medina riverfront in a serene country setting, but it's also located just ten minutes from all the food, shops, and events of downtown Bandera. This rental is both kid-friendly and pet-friendly, so you can treat the entire family to this gorgeous Hill Country retreat without fracturing your holiday budget!

This fabulous Medina River cabin perches you and yours right on the river's edge, from where you can fish, tube, swim, and observe the wildlife that calls this peaceful corner of the Hill Country home. The riverside, lined by 100-year old cypress trees, is also a great place to relax and let the calming sights and sounds of the outdoors wash over you. The Vintage River Cabin has sleeping accommodations for five, and if you'd like to make plans for a larger group, the neighboring Bandera River Retreat is also available, with room for an additional 14 people.

Outdoor furniture and a picnic table are set up behind the cabin, where you can savor the inspirational Hill Country views, observe wildlife, or stargaze on crystal-clear Texas nights. Along the entire width of the cabin runs a roomy and furniture-filled screened-in porch, where you can bask in the fresh country air. For a hearty grilled meal, there's a BBQ pit complete with all the utensils you'll need for outdoor dining. Smoking on the property is allowed, but only outdoors.

The cabin's interior includes cozy and comfortable living and dining areas, as well as a fully-appointed kitchen with cookware and utensils included. The full bathroom is equipped with a shower, and all bath and bed linens for your stay are provided. A queen-sized bed in the master bedroom, two twin beds in the second bedroom, and a large couch provide, in total, sleeping arrangements for up to five people. Please keep in mind, while the main area of the cabin is climate controlled with heating and AC units, the second bedroom on the porch is not-but the screened windows can be adjusted accordingly. Wifi Internet service is available here, as is excellent cell phone coverage.

Treat your family to the ultimate Hill Country getaway in this secluded river cabin on the Medina! To book the Vintage River Cabin, contact us at Backroads Reservations today.
