My husband and I came across this property at the last minute before Labor Day weekend. Our goal was to get away, enjoy nature and a scenic view, and relax. This property helped us do all of those things, and then some. The host was VERY helpful and responsive - we’d get a message back within minutes, every time. The view: the pictures don’t do it justice. It’s a gorgeous view from almost every room in the house. Additionally, you can enjoy it from the shade on the deck, from a lower deck, near the water, or from the floating dock that’s right on the water. The Property: the property is well maintained and was perfect for our dog, Cooper, to walk around on. He enjoyed being “a dog”, walking around the property - while never being too far away for us to call him. It’s also VERY secluded. We kept commenting on how quiet it was-which was perfect! The house is a perfect size for almost any group. It was nice having AC in the Texas heat, a full kitchen, nice bathrooms, and a nice dining room. Although we wanted to “unplug”, it was nice that there was high speed WiFi and a TV with apps, so we could still get calls and enjoy some downtime in the AC. The nature: we heard many sounds of animals - which is what we were hoping for, in the hill country - did some fishing, and enjoyed swimming in the cool water. We were surprised how deep the water was in a drought! So no matter what, you’ll have water to play in! This is a rental that we plan on coming back to OFTEN to build life-long memories with our family. We can’t wait to be back!
