What guests are saying...

Adrianna
Amazing stay. Really nice quit get away tucked in the hill country. The water behind the home was perfect for tubing and fishing. Great proximity to Lost Maples made our time even better. Our family can't wait to be back in the summer.
Valerie
My husband and I stayed here for a few days with our two dogs. The house was pristine and very pet friendly. The pictures are accurate and the location is private and beautiful. I feel very lucky to have stayed here and experience a private retreat that felt like a home away from home. This location is well stocked and all appliances, showers, AC etc. worked well. The kitchen is spacious and we loved cooking and eating our meals here. It is very quiet and in the country, we loved sitting outside on the back deck overlooking the water without a human in site. We got to wake up to dear outside every morning. Our dogs loved walking around and hanging out on the back porch with us. This location is about 30 minutes away from Hondo which has restaurants, Walmart, HEB etc. We loved staying here also because it’s 20-30 minutes away from two state parks. The hosts were very helpful and responsive. We did not have cell signal but the WiFi was fast and reliable. We hope to be back!
Javier
This place is as beautiful as it looks in the pictures. Peaceful, private, serene, and with your own access to the river. At night the stars really pop out there in the Hill Country. We came for a couple of days but we are sure to come back! Private note Thank you for everything! We loved our stay at y’all’s place.
Chad
Great place so private and we caught fish all weekend.
Mary
The hosts were exceptionally responsive and quickly dealt with an issue when we arrived at the house. The location was fantastic, with a deep, swimmable creek in this intense Texas drought. The kitchen was nicely equipped, everything worked well, and we had a lovely time swimming, star gazing, and enjoying birdsong in this private location. A favorite was the deck overlooking the creek, and the 2nd deck near the water. We'll likely be back.
