What guests are saying...

My daughters and I rented this house for a Mother/Daughter getaway before my youngest gets married this spring, and we had an amazing stay! Originally, I chose this place because of the accessibility, as I recently had foot surgery and was on a knee scooter. The single level home with smooth concrete floors and the handicap accessible shower was perfect for me! But even beyond that, this house is perfect! My older daughter is a professional cook and she was so pleased with the incredibly well-equipped kitchen, which we never expect in vacation rentals. We had everything we needed to cook all our meals! The weekend was cold and drizzly, but the wonderful fireplace was so cozy and the extra blankets throughout the house were great to snuggle up with, especially as we used them to wrap up and enjoy the porch swing and rockers on the covered wraparound porch. We loved watching the sheep, deer, cows, and alpaca in the fields. It was so peaceful! We also enjoyed the games that were supplied…late night Mexican Train Dominos was our favorite. We never even turned on the TV, even though it had all the streaming channels we could need. I’m already working on plans for another visit! This will definitely be a place we will visit again and again!
Debbie and Bing are fabulous hosts and very personable. The property is beautiful and the views are breathtaking. We loved drinking our morning coffee while watching the wildlife. I highly recommend this property.

Just as the pictures show; the home is very clean and offers all of the amenities you would want and need. We spent almost the whole time outdoors when we were at the house. We grilled, hung out on the swings and star gazed every night. This home is perfect for all ages, and we hope to visit again soon!
What a trip! The home was BEAUTIFUL! It was PERFECT! It was sooooo enjoyable!! Thank you very much!! We were able to spend some time with Bing and Debbie. That was a PLUS!! Janet I will book again.
This was the perfect place for me and a friend to stay. It was so clean and comfortable with everything you need for a home away from home, including a nicely equipped kitchen, very comfortable beds, and clean bathrooms. The sheep in the neighboring pasture were such a delight to watch and so were the deer, birds, and other wildlife that roamed around the surrounding land. The views were breathtaking and we delighted in sitting on one of the many porches each morning and evening to enjoy the peace and quiet. We greatly enjoyed our visit with the owners, Bing and Debbie, and look forward to staying in touch with them. It was truly the perfect place to rest, relax, and pray. We are so grateful and honored to have gotten to stay at Omie's Haus.

Five Stars for this big, gorgeous house and it’s incredible hosts! We only wish we could have stayed longer. Bing & Debbie are like your favorite cool relatives who have a huge guest house with every conceivable amenity plus terrific company if you choose. So quiet and private, but just 10 minutes from downtown Fredericksburg. Sparkling clean, you could eat off the floors. For the first couple days we were super busy, coming in late each night and the hosts graciously gave us space & privacy. But I’m so glad I texted Debbie on our last full day so that we could meet them! We cooked amazing steaks on the charcoal grill, enjoyed the spectacular master shower, watched the deer come right up into the yard, sheep just 100 yards away. Pictures don’t do the house justice: Even bigger & nicer than we thought. Beautiful gas fireplace, full wraparound porch on 4 sides, covered parking, even high-quality binoculars for deer watching. Perfect for couples, families, kids, or girls’ trip. We can’t wait to go back. Don’t hesitate: BOOK NOW!
