We had a wonderful stay! Everything was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The host was welcoming and easy to communicate with, and all the little touches made us feel right at home. The location was great, and we really enjoyed every part of our visit. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!

Access to the river was amazing. Easy to get in, and river was about 4 feet where we entered. A little bit of a walk down. But the kids went back and forth back and forth all weekend with no problem. Lots of seating for eating inside or outside. The bunk beds were built in, so they were very nice. Kids and adults liked them. Plenty of parking for at least 5 vehicles. Would book again. Nice place to have a vacation and see the town.

Loved the Bandera Box. Had another house booked that did not live up to expectations and had to cancel finding myself with no place to stay after 6 pm and with my family to arrive the following day. Found Bandera Box listing and Backroads Reservations responded immediately to my reservation request and maintained excellent communication throughout. The house is great and the view from the back deck was amazing. Our 8-yr old daughter loved watching the deer down by the river each morning and evening. It really is the best of both worlds being right in the middle of town on one side and having unspoiled river views and access on the other. Already thinking about another stay in warmer weather to do some kayaking and fishing.

The location of your rental property was si convenient. Being located so close to various attractions made our vacation all the more enjoyable. We were able to explore the local area, engage in outdoor activities, and create cherished memories together. All within walking distance. I must commend your staff for their exceptional professionalism and responsiveness. They were always available to assist us with any inquiries or concerns, and their friendly demeanor added a personal touch to our experience. My daughter in law left an expensive bathing suit and we reached out to Spencer who quickly responded and got it in the mail to us. (Which we received ?) Our only wish was there was water to get to in the river. Once again, I want to express my heartfelt appreciation for providing us with such a wonderful vacation retreat. It was a much-needed escape that allowed us to relax, recharge, and bond as a family. My stay was short but very relaxing and comfortable while I was helping with a fundraiser. It is in close proximity to everything in town and conveniently walking distance to grocery store. The house was very roomy, clean, and quiet even though the street it’s in can get quite busy. I had friends pull up on their bikes and I wouldn’t here them till they knocked I. The door. I will definitely try to book this place again with family and friends.

Backroads Reservations has a great selection of rentals in a variety of Texas towns. We stayed at the Bandera Box house in downtown Bandera for the weekend. The accommodations and location were perfect for our group. We were able to walk into the downtown area to restaurants, shops and bars. The rental house had a great kitchen, living area, outdoor spaces and enough beds for everyone in our group. We will definitely book with this company again in the future and look forward to future trips.
