Property Description

The Rockin' B Ranch covers 55 scenic acres in the beautiful Texas Hill Country, and the second-story Barndominium offers modern amenities and amazing views! It's the perfect setting for a romantic getaway for up to three couples, and it's also a kid-friendly vacation rental for a family holiday. The ranch's location is perfect for nature lovers, and the shopping and activities of Hill Country towns like Boerne, Pipe Creek, and Bandera are all within a short drive-it's the best of both worlds!

The Barndominium is one of the top-rated vacation rentals in Pipe Creek, and it's easy to see why! You'll have 2,000 square feet of space to stretch out on the inside, and acres of the Hill Country to explore outside. This rental includes the second story of the building only, but if you'd like a roomy venue for a larger gathering such as a wedding or family reunion, the first story venue space can also be rented; please ask us for details.

With a cool creek at your disposal, you can enjoy swimming, fishing, and even kayaking from the dock-and the kayaks are provided! The depth of the creek is seasonal, so please inquire about this when you book. The grounds have plenty of hiking trails, perfect for wildlife watching in this natural setting. There's a shaded balcony with plenty of outdoor furniture, and a gas grill for your open-air dining. Smokers are welcome, as long as you keep it outside.

The inside isn't just gorgeous-with hardwood and stone floors throughout-but it's big, too! The living and dining areas are enormous, with plenty of comfy furniture and elbow room. Your space also has four satellite TVs-the one in the living room has a DVD player. There's Wifi service, central air and heating, ceiling fans, and a washer and dryer combo. All bedroom and bathroom linens are included for the three big bedrooms and two and a half baths-the full bathrooms both have walk-in showers. All the bedrooms have king-sized beds, providing soft and warm sleeping accommodations for up to six people. The fully-appointed kitchen has all the appliances, cookware, and serving ware you'll need for your culinary adventures.

Biker Rallies of Texas

Supporting and boosting local businesses and events is at the very heart of what we do at Backroads Reservations! The good folks at Biker Rallies of Texas are the devoted organizers of the most popular motorcycle rallies in the Hill Country. With major rallies in the spring and fall, they work nonstop to assure safety, organization, great memories, and a good time is had by all attending! They’ve got their start in 2000, when they arranged rallies in Liberty County and Kerrville, Texas. Two years later, they found their permanent home in Bandera. Let’s take a look at the two major events they currently host.

Boerne’s Hill Country Mile

In the hustle of modern American life, it’s easy to lose sight of an important cultural fact: it’s difficult to get everything done on your daily to-do list without a car. Too many towns have been designed with outwardly-expanding sectors of commerce that put one business or attraction miles away from another. The larger the size of the town, the more true this adage seems to be.

This property and home was amazing. The wildlife was so beautiful to see. The home was beautiful and the views were breathtaking. The host was helpful and very welcoming. Our family was wishing our stay was longer. Loved our visit.

The house and property are beautiful! So happy we chose this place to spend our Thanksgiving! The kitchen is fabulous and stocked with much more than we needed. The bathrooms are fabulous and everyone said their beds were the best we had ever had. Would love to go back!
Pamela
We loved the Barndominium! We like homes with a good “yonder” and although this property is relatively flat, we now appreciate the views provided by the elevation of the entire home on the second level above the barn/party space. We also loved the resident cat & dog as well as feeding the fish in the creek. One of the best stocked kitchens we’ve ever rented as well!
Nicole
My kids and I spent a long weekend relaxing, tubing, kayaking, fishing, enjoying the scenery and visiting the surrounding towns. The home was very well equipped and the owner very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend it if you need to get away for some peace and serenity.
Lara
Great location, amazing views, beautiful and spacious home--we really enjoyed our visit! We were able to explore the land, fish, and kayak. It's just a perfect place to get away but close enough to different towns so you can get supplies or go out to dinner. Highly recommend this private and beautiful home!
Jannet
The property is beautiful and very well stocked with everything you'll need or want for a fun vacation. Whether it was cooking a gourmet dinner, sitting on the porch and watching the resident herd of deer and countless hawks, watching the moon come up over the hills, or sinking into the comfortable beds at the end of the day, every moment was a delight. We had a wonderful visit, exploring the property, kayaking, and discovering the beauty of the surrounding Texas Hill Country. It was just exactly the escape from the daily grind that my family and I all needed!
