We'd like to point out from the get-go that each cabin at The Nest Cabin Resort comfortably accommodates up to three people. However, it's important to note that this is a good-sized resort, and there are several vacation cabin rentals available here! If you're looking for great kid-friendly Hill Country lodging for a larger group, please contact us for more information on space options and booking availability.

As you approach The Nest, you're greeted in style: a big red barn stands on the property, a nostalgic and welcoming centerpiece that tells you something special is underway! The design of the resort is such that all the cabins have been arranged to maximize individual privacy. When you stay at the Hummingbird Cabin, you'll have a shaded porch, the perfect place to sip your morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evening. By the way, the cabin faces west, so you'll have a ringside seat for those amazing Hill Country sunsets!

Privacy is nice, but there are times when our guests are in the mood to socialize. The Nest has a roomy pavilion with plenty of picnic tables, and a clear, cool, and refreshing pool; both are wonderful settings where guests can meet! Right in front of the cabins is a big grassy field, with plenty of space for tossing footballs and frisbees-so be sure to brings yours along. You can also enjoy a game of cornhole (bags), or test your aim in a round of axe throwing! (axe throwing is at your own risk and The Nest does not supply axes)  All are invited to have fun, but please play safely; for your protection and ours, we require a signed release of liability. If you'd like to smoke here, please do so outside only.

Your time inside the Hummingbird Cabin will be comfortable, with AC, heating, and ceiling fans installed to keep your interior space just as you like it.
