Property Description

Welcome to High Places Ranch in Concan, Texas - a one-of-a-kind luxury retreat designed by award-winning architect. This modern Hill Country escape offers refined design, total privacy, and immersive natural beauty just minutes from the Frio River and Garner State Park.

Gather your closest friends or family and escape to High Places Ranch, a private retreat set on 600 scenic acres just one mile from Garner State Park. Designed by the acclaimed John Grable Architects, this newly remodeled 5-bedroom, 4-bath home is a striking blend of sleek modern design and untamed Hill Country beauty. With space for up to 12 guests and exclusive access to some of the region's most stunning private terrain, this is more than a getaway-it's a destination.

Inside, the great room makes a bold first impression with its floor-to-ceiling windows, exposed beams, and striking stone fireplace. The open-concept layout includes a spacious sectional for lounging, a pool table for friendly competition, and a fully stocked chef-style kitchen with high-end appliances, expansive pantry, a massive island, and bar seating. The indoor dining area flows seamlessly to a covered patio with sweeping views of the hills, a gas grill, and a large charcoal smoker for classic Texas barbecue.

The home comfortably sleeps 12 guests across three king bedrooms, two twin bedrooms, and an upstairs loft with two additional twin beds. Four full bathrooms throughout the home are styled with spa-like tilework and elegant finishes, offering resort-level comfort.

A separate upstairs room with a private balcony provides a quiet escape for remote work, featuring two thoughtfully arranged workstations that make it easy to sneak in a bit of productivity when needed.

But it's what surrounds the home that sets it apart. Guests have private access to hiking trails that wind through hills and canyons, leading to a real airplane crash site-part of which is mounted as artwork on an exterior wall the home. A massive cave awaits adventurous explorers, and a two-acre stocked pond invites peaceful fishing, canoeing, or watching wildlife at sunrise. Whitetail deer, wild turkeys, and many bird species are frequent visitors, adding to the raw beauty of the ranch.

Located just minutes from Garner State Park and the Frio River, High Places Ranch offers easy access to swimming, tubing, hiking, and the charm of Concan's local dining and dancing scene. At the end of the day, return to a home that offers quiet luxury, scenic seclusion, and room for everyone to relax.

High Places Ranch is not your average vacation rental-it's a rare opportunity to stay in a home designed by one of Texas' leading architects, surrounded by natural beauty and Hill Country adventure. Whether you're relaxing fireside, hiking to a cave, or casting into the pond at sunset, every moment here is elevated.
