The Antler House at 7 Canyons Ranch is a perfect getaway spot with a beautiful vintage look, and its location at the base of the Hill Country canyons offer views you just won't find anywhere else. Though remote, this premium vacation spot is located just down the road from towns like Tarpley and Bandera-so you and your family will be able to enjoy the best of both worlds in this memorable hideaway!

The Texas Hill Country is known for its natural beauty, and the Antler House offers up the best of the best views in the area. This cozy cabin vacation rental really is the ideal blend of outdoor scenery and indoor comfort. If you're looking to escape the day-to-day grind, the serene surroundings here are just the ticket for your peace of mind.

The front of the house features a shaded porch, complete with rockers-and there's a nearby open-air seating area. A charcoal grill and fire pit add those perfect accents to your outdoor enjoyment! The Antler House's interior offers a historic complement to the vistas outside. Vintage accents-like the Kiva fireplace in the big, airy living room-recall a more rustic time in Texas' history. But you won't be living like pioneers here! Central air and heat, and ceiling fans, provide comfortable climate control. There's a satellite TV with DVD player and wireless Internet provided, too. The kitchen is well-equipped, with all the utensils and cooking equipment you'll need, complete with a dining area for six. There's even a laundry room!

Two bedrooms have sleeping room for up to six, with a queen-sized bed in the master bedroom, and another queen and twin bunk beds in the second. The two full bathrooms both have showers, and the master is equipped with twin vanities. All bed and bath linens are also provided.

All this adds up to some of the best amenities in Tarpley, or anywhere else in the Hill Country region! Contact us here at Backroads Reservations, and we'll get you on the road to your private, relaxing, and fun getaway.

My friend Kate and I had a wonderful time at Antler House. We hiked both of the main trails, did a fair bit of porch sitting, saw some awesome birds and were able to leave all our cares back home for a few days. I can’t recall the last time I slept so well! So yes, I believe we will be coming back to the Hill Country, I hope very soon. Will be sure to contact you folks for excellent lodging!

What a comfy place to get away and relax. Great place to base out of and explore the Texas Hill Country. The views from High Tower were amazing. Well worth the climb! So neat to see all the animals. Multiple bison and the adorable calf, the elk, oryx and boar. The fireflies and stars from the fire pit were the perfect way to end the day.

Absolutely beautiful place! We went with our adult children for a long weekend and enjoyed it so! The aesthetics of the cabin are perfect! The set up is nice and the kitchen pretty well appointed. (The girls even baked Christmas cookies here!) There is a wraparound porch where you can sit and watch elk, deer, oryx +. The fire pit is a great place to sit around and visit in the evening. There is a great fireplace in the living room as well. Don’t spend all your time in the cabin though...the hiking trails are great and well marked. The kids were a bit faster getting to the top, but we all enjoyed it! I do recommend hiking boots if you go. Some of the footing is a bit loose and it will just make it a bit easier! The ranch is beautiful and conservation efforts are great. All the animals and wildlife are beautiful and well cared for. The owner, Robert Hamilton, is very nice and checked in with us. He was also very knowledgeable and was exceptionally patient with my millions of questions. I can’t say enough positive things about our time here. Would certainly recommend it to anyone who wants to get away! We all are planning a return trip!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Antler house. The kids couldn’t stop talking about the hiking trails and the animals they saw. There was such a peace about the home. Definitely an awesome place.

Beautiful views. Great location for privacy and getting away. Being 30 minutes away from 3 different state parks was a plus!

This place is just as it is shown. The best views and stargazing is the best.
