Embark with us on an amazing eclipse journey! By astronomical luck, the Hill Country will be in the path of two upcoming solar eclipses. Saturday, October 14, 2023 will bring an annular “Ring of Fire” eclipse, and a full solar eclipse will occur Monday, April 8, 2024. We’ve got 125 great vacation homes in the region, covering 21 Hill Country towns, all in the eclipse “bullseye.” These properties are already sparking interest from travelers.

The Pony Cabin at Tabasco Ranch sleeps three, and is a perfect eclipse home for a couple or small family! Outside, there’s a front patio and shaded back deck, with both a grill and fire pit. The property’s big shared pavilion has an oven, fridge, and additional fire pit. There’s AC, satellite TV and Wifi, and a full kitchen inside the cabin. You can also board horses here!
The Lodge at Forse Mountain Ranch in Kerrville is a huge family-friendly eclipse escape for up to 14! There are 170 acres here, complete with swimming and fishing areas (paddle boats and kayaks included). Front and back seating areas include a fire pit and charcoal and gas grills. Inside, there’s a wood-burning fireplace, satellite TV and Wifi service, even a big gaming room!
Gather family, friends to see the eclipses at 7 Canyons Ranch near Tarpley! There’s space here for up to 28 people, all on 500-acre ranch where there’s plenty of wildlife as well as sky show.This property includes satellite TV, fire pit, hot tub, BBQ pit, Wifi service, dens with fireplaces and more. All Lodge suites are available for the 2023 eclipse, but ONLY lower-story suites (space for 16) are available for 2024
