Biker Rallies of Texas

Supporting and boosting local businesses and events is at the very heart of what we do at Backroads Reservations! The good folks at Biker Rallies of Texas are the devoted organizers of the most popular motorcycle rallies in the Hill Country. With major rallies in the spring and fall, they work nonstop to assure safety, organization, great memories, and a good time is had by all attending! They’ve got their start in 2000, when they arranged rallies in Liberty County and Kerrville, Texas. Two years later, they found their permanent home in Bandera. Let’s take a look at the two major events they currently host.

Boerne’s Hill Country Mile

In the hustle of modern American life, it’s easy to lose sight of an important cultural fact: it’s difficult to get everything done on your daily to-do list without a car. Too many towns have been designed with outwardly-expanding sectors of commerce that put one business or attraction miles away from another. The larger the size of the town, the more true this adage seems to be.

This was exactly what we looking for. We went with our 4 and 6 year old, it was perfect, we used the extra room to throw our stuff in. Loved that there were 2 bathrooms. The back patio, fire pit area were amazing, that’s where we stayed most of the time. If you are looking for somewhere to bring your dog with you, this is the place. I regretted not bringing our dog bc I wasn’t sure how much room we would have but we will bring her next time. We will definitely be back.

We enjoyed walking around the property. Lots of wildlife everywhere. Short drive to lost maples and the hill country state parks. The beds were not comfortable. Might want to bring some padding if stating. House was very well stocked.

We stayed in the Texan house at the Yellow Rose Ranch/ Backroads. It was rustic, quiet and off the grid. It served our group of eight well. Ryan and the on-ranch managers were very responsive and helpful. We had hoped to paddle board or kayak but the water was too low and we never saw any of the water toys, maybe next time. We were in Tarpley for a wedding and had a great time! Good memories by the fire pit as well! We would stay here again if in the area!

This is our second time visiting Yellow Rose Ranch and staying at the Texan. We had a great long weekend away and really love it there. The house is very clean and was more than comfortable for our family of 5. The house is perfect for families and has plenty of room to spread out. There are 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and a spacious living room and dining area. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to make breakfast and dinner. There is a bbq for grilling out and a fire pit and a covered porch with table. There is also a deck overlooking the water with another table. That is a favorite spot. We enjoyed sitting outside or inside and seeing all the hummingbirds flying around and eating from all the feeders. What we enjoyed most was the beautiful scenery and the peace and quiet we experienced while staying there. Our teens were relieved to have WIFi and a smart tv during our stay. We were looking forward to possibly swimming or canoeing from the dock like we did last time but unfortunately when we visited, the water was too low and the docks were closed. We still enjoyed our time there and took advantage of being close to Lost Maples and other scenic areas in the hill country. Communication was professional and timely and everyone we spoke with was friendly. We can’t wait to go back and stay again

We thoroughly enjoyed the property, was neat & clean but kept the natural setting beautifully. The peace and quiet was wonderful. Bird watching was excellent. Did a little fishing with the catch & releasing. Dock ramp a bit steep so could use some non-skid strips or something for us older folks. Didn't swim much but the shore was very thick with mud. But ambiance was nice. For a nice quiet getaway for some relaxation it was perfect.

We had a wonderful time. Nice location and pretty scenery. We loved that there was no one around, it was so quiet and peaceful. We also saw a lot of wildlife running around.
