The Trails End Retreat
Property Description
Put yourself right in the heart of one of the most popular spots in the Texas Hill Country! The Trail's End Retreat is in downtown Bandera, the Cowboy Capital of the World, and all the fun and adventure that entails. You'll be less than a block from the Old Spanish Trail Restaurant, the 11th Street Cowboy Bar, Arkey Blue's, and other renowned Bandera attractions. The Trail's End Retreat is kid-friendly, pet-friendly, and budget-friendly, and it's just a short walk from the banks of the Medina River.
Embark with us on our amazing Hill Country Eclipse Journey! By astronomical luck, the Hill Country will be in the path of total solar eclipse on Monday, April 8, 2024. We have 125 great vacation homes in the region, covering 21 Hill Country towns, all in the eclipse "bullseye." Experience the enchantment of the darkest night skies, while witnessing the finest solar eclipse viewing in the Hill Country.
Bandera has a reputation as one of the greatest spots to visit in the Hill Country, with its respect for the history of the American West and its dedication to showing its visitors a good time! All this will be literally at your doorstep at the Trail's End Retreat; all the great shops and attractions await you as soon as you open your door. The Trail's End Retreat sleeps four, but if you have a larger group in mind, check out the Trail's End Hideaway next door and to rent it, too; that way, you can bring a crew as big as eight!
Are you seeking adventure on the water? We've got you covered there, too! The Bandera City Park is just over a block from the Trail's End Retreat, and it's right on the banks of the Medina River. Cast a line, swim, or take advantage of the tubing facilities there, or just kick back and relax. It's a fantastic place to spot birds and wildlife.
The airy and open floor plan of the Trail's End Retreat offers both leg-stretching comfort and a great socializing space, and the western decor fits right in with the Cowboy Capital of the World. This spacious guest cabin has a roomy queen-sized bed and a convertible futon sofa/bed, which provide plush comfort for up to four people. The full bath is equipped with a shower stall, and the kitchenette is appointed with a mini fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. Free coffee and disposable serving ware are happily provided by your hosts, as are soft bed and bath linens! Window AC and heating keep the space comfortable at all times, and Wifi service and Amazon Fire TV is also provided.
The Trail's End Retreat is just one example of the great Hill Country vacation rentals we have to offer at Backroads Reservations.
