What guests are saying...

Chris
My wife and I spent the weekend here as a getaway not far from Fredericksburg. Check-in was super simple. The space was very clean and there are instructions throughout the place so you know what to do. The front porch is huge. It was a great spot to drink some wine in the evening and watch the deer frolic to the nearby feeder. The little shared pavilion cabin is a nice touch and just a one minute walk from the porch! The raised Adirondack chairs were great to lounge in and watch the horse/cows across the pond. If you should happen to be a long distance runner looking to get in a workout, the country highway is a great training track as it has plenty of hills and a ton of great countryside views to keep both your body and your mind engaged. Don't wear noise cancelling headphones because you'll wanna be able to hear the sporadic car coming through and adjust your running lane accordingly. The bed sits high on the frame and was very comfortable! If you're picky about pillows, I recommend you bring your own. The shower had plenty of water pressure, got hot quickly, and had room for your own grooming supplies. We did not use the TV nor much of the kitchen aside from the mini fridge. However, everything was laid out very well for maximum comfort. The Air conditioning works very well and there are PLENTY of ceiling fans to keep the air circulating. There is another cabin adjacent to this one. I didn't catch whether we shared a wall or not but I do not think we did. For the time we were there, we did not hear any noise at all from the other cabin at all. It actually surprised me to see another car in the parking area on our last day. That's the only indication I had to know someone else was next door the previous night. Wi-Fi worked throughout the area. I had no video conference meetings so I cannot speak to the streaming quality you'd get. But I was able to browse various websites while looking up things to do with speed and ease. All in all, this was a great experience and one I highly recommend to anyone wanting to experience central Texas hill country and/or misses the country lifestyle. You guys have such a great slice of Earth there in Comfort. The well placed "bitchables" signs were excellent! We would 100% love to come back again maybe in the fall and will for sure be bragging to our friends about your amazing space! Cheers!

The cabin was perfect for us. Much of the interior of the cabin is made from trees that were on the ranch. The antler theme is continues through out the cabin with -- chandelier, light fixture in the kitchen, lamps in the bedroom, the door pulls on the bathroom cabinets and even the toilet paper roll holder!! There is a small kitchen with plenty of dishes and utensils. There is a huge deck with great views. We enjoyed watching the sunset and sunrise, the hummingbirds, the deer and even stargazing. We had great weather and got up early every morning to watch the deer and wander around the ranch. The ranch is only 4 miles from Comfort and close to many wineries and other attractions. We will definitely be returning to the Tabasco Ranch!!

We had a great weekend stay at the Antler Cabin. The hosts were easy to communicate with and provided recommendations of where to go and eat. The cabin was very clean and had nice amenities. It was beautiful to look at so many stars on a clear night sky and see the horses grazing during the day. We would stay here again.
Karen
My daughter and I stayed in Antler Cabin over the weekend and it was beyond amazing! The owners are genuinely kind people and made us feel right at home! The views on their property are just stunning. Sunsets to die for in the evening and you can see so many stars from the cabin deck on a clear night! They have the sweetest horses, ponies, and barn cats. Plenty of deer and hummingbirds to watch out for too. It's an easy drive to downtown Comfort for shopping and dining if you don't feel like cooking. The cabin was well stocked with everything you need to cook your own meals and there is also a charcoal grill on the deck. We definitely enjoyed unplugging for a few days and can't wait to come back!

Can't wait to go back!! The ranch is beautiful and peaceful. It is close to town but far enough away to feel like you are away from it all. The sunrise and sunsets are beautiful. The deer are fun to watch. The weather was perfect for spending the evening on the deck enjoying nature and stargazing. The cabin is beautiful . You can tell that the cabinets and built-ins were made by real craftsmen. Cute little kitchen with everything you need. Next time, we need to stay longer, there is so much to do in the area and we barely scratched the surface!!
Austin
It was honestly a very beautiful and peaceful place. The thing that I enjoyed the most about the property is how quiet it truly was. You’re not too far from city lights, but when there, you feel as if you’re lifetimes away from the lights.
