Property Description

Ask any Hill Country local, and they'll tell you the Medina River is a hot spot for tubing, fishing, swimming, you name it. They may also tell you about the traffic and crowds you might have to contend with to enjoy the river. The RRR Lone Star  on the Medina removes all those hassles with its peaceful riverside setting! This comfy river cabin sleeps four, is family friendly, and its location provides quick and easy access to Hill Country towns like Bandera, Medina, and Pipe Creek!

The RRR Lone Star is located on 15 beautiful acres west of Medina. The friendly horses on the property, Sassy and Red Duke, will likely greet you as you arrive! At this waterfront rental cabin, you'll find 1,800 feet of river access, where water depth ranges from one to eight feet. It can be tough to find shade on a river, but there's a canopy set up IN the Medina here, so you can enjoy a shaded float! Nature lovers will appreciate the Hill Country and Lost Maples State Natural Areas are both within 40 miles of the cabin.

Outside, there's a picnic area where BBQ fans can show off on the charcoal grill. For lighter snacking and conversation, there are two riverside fire pits, which are perfect for stargazing, too! The cabin has a shaded deck with furniture, from which you'll see plenty of wildlife. In fact, deer feeders are distributed here so they'll feel welcome! Visitors with RVs can hook up here for a reasonable fee. Please note there are no pets allowed and this is a no-smoking rental, and outdoor features may be shared with another nearby cabin.

Texas-themed furnishings provide an intimate living space for your Hill Country escape. There's a queen-sized bed, with a twin bunk set; all told, there's comfy sleeping accommodations for up to four. AC, heat, and a ceiling fan keep the interior just right, and there's a kitchenette with a mini fridge, microwave, and coffee pot for your convenience, too. The full bath includes a shower, fresh bed and bath linens are provided, and there's a dining area, too. Tech-wise, there's a smart TV with Wifi Internet.
