Firewater on the Frio River

This unique home sits just off CR 350 overlooking the Frio River with private river access. Rock stairs lead down to the cool clear waters of the Frio. A large rock bar invites lounging in the sun while deep waters provide hours of swimming and fishing pleasure. Whether you like to sit in a chair in the water or float around on a tube, there is ample space. Picnicking along the shady banks is also a favorite.
Star Kayak Rental is located less than half a mile from the house with tubes and kayaks available. Magers Crossing is 1 mile from the house and is a great place to put in upstream and float back to the banks of FireWater, which is just a few properties down from the El Zocolo property. You can also continue on from the house to Seven Bluffs, these are some of the less traveled floats with beautiful scenery.
The outdoor covered deck has festive patio lighting and a large picnic table making a perfect place for outdoor meals or to watch the sun rise over the mountains in the morning. There is a wood deck with extra bistro seating under a covered porch with a beautiful view looking out over the river. On the other side is a rock patio area with charcoal grill, also facing a scenic view of the river and the mountains in the background.
The front of the house has ample parking with a covered carport. Volleyball net and horseshoes also can be found in the front lawn area.
This home is uniquely decorated in an eclectic design and displays custom stained glass and interior fossil rock walls and fireplaces. There are five bedrooms, providing sleeping for 20. Three bedrooms on the main floor and two in the loft, accessible by a spiral staircase. A fully equipped kitchen and large indoor dining table will allow for fellowship between family and friends while dining. The log living area with river facing windows has a wet bar, extra fridge, game table and TV.
NO LINENS OR TOWELS ARE PROVIDED. They can be rented for an additional charge.
Concan

The Frio River carves its way through this pretty little town, which makes it a perfect setting for horseback riding, hiking, bat-watching and wildlife spotting. Ride a tube or a kayak down the river, visit Mount Old Baldy in nearby Garner State Park, and grab a bite and brew in one of Concan's restaurants and night spots.
