Central air and heating keeps the distinctive and rustic interior of the Casa Rio Hideaway comfy, and its extras include a washer and dryer, a wood-burning fireplace, satellite TV and DVD, good cell phone service, and a well-appointed kitchen, including cookware, serving ware, glasses, and utensils. The three bedrooms and loft, and their seven beds, comfortably sleep up to 14 people, and the downstairs sofas can be used to sleep up to two more. Please note the cabin is not equipped with bed or bath linens or toiletries, so plan ahead to bring your own during your stay here. The Hideaway features two-and-a-half baths, and the full bathrooms include shower and tub combos.

The Frio River carves its way through this pretty little town, which makes it a perfect setting for horseback riding, hiking, bat-watching and wildlife spotting. Ride a tube or a kayak down the river, visit Mount Old Baldy in nearby Garner State Park, and grab a bite and brew in one of Concan's restaurants and night spots.
