What’s in a Name: Nameless, Texas

About five miles northeast of Lago Vista, and three north of Jonestown, you’ll find remnants of an interesting Hill Country ghost town. Nameless, Texas, never reached even 100 residents, and its overall history was fairly ordinary, but at the heart of its history is one of the most frustrating examples of governmental bureaucracy you’ll find anywhere.

Staying here was the best decision! Tricia was so amazing and sweet! They had everything we could possibly need already there for us! The picture of the bed/bedroom looked a little small and I was concerned at first, but it turned out to be perfect! We felt welcomed and they were so hospitable! Our puppies played in the water and had plenty of space to run! We were cozy and enjoyed a perfect getaway! I can’t say enough about our hosts and the location! If you are wandering if you should book this little cabin, the answer is yes! Do it!

Absolutely Delightful Stay in a Tiny Home! We recently had the pleasure of staying in this charming tiny home. The space, though compact, offered all the comforts without feeling cramped. The surrounding area was serene, perfect for unwinding and taking a break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. We especially appreciated how pet-friendly this place was. Our dog had a fantastic time exploring and lounging in the peaceful outdoor space. The hosts were incredibly welcoming, ensuring we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We highly recommend this home for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway. It's ideal for couples or small families, and of course, your furry friends will love it too!

An easy 5-star rating from my side. Extremely friendly and respectful host, with nice, clean, quiet, and well equipped place to get some well needed rest. Would be happy to visit again!

My husband and I had the most perfect get away, we even got to bring our fur baby (dog!). The cabin, land, hot tub, was even better than expected and fit us perfectly!! We spent a day hiking at the Hill country natural area, which was beautiful. And the next day downtown trying their recommended place “Dough Joe” so yummy!! Communication while renting was great! Our first dates unfortunately didn’t work out because I had covid 3 days before we were supposed to leave. Within 30 minutes we had new dates scheduled with no problems! I will be recommending this place to everyone!

We had the most amazing weekend at crazy horse cabin! I think our dog Miles had the most fun of all ❤️ At one point he even had a little camp buddy in the owners chiwennie, Mocha. The creek was awesome mucky at the bottom but running nice and clear, bring water shoes. We can’t wait to go back to this little shangrila ❤️
