Property Description

Relaxation and adventure await you in the Cowboy Capital of the World! You get both privacy and a location in central Bandera in the 11th Street Ace guest house. All the events, shopping, great eats, and the fun of the Medina River are practically at your doorstep here; just as one example, the fabled 11th Street Cowboy Bar is right next door. A warm and welcoming interior and cozy amenities in this prime downtown setting will make this the heart of your next memorable Hill Country vacation!

Pretty much everything Bandera has to offer is within walking distance from here, making it ideal for those who don't want to spend their getaway driving. Main Street is just a block away, and it's a short stroll to the Medina River, known for its tubing, fishing, swimming, and other water sports and activities. It's the ultimate Hill Country vacation river retreat! And, if you'd like to wander farther, the Guadalupe River and Hill Country State Natural Area are both within a half-hour drive.

The bright and clean lines of its limestone construction draw the eye to the Boarding House, and even though it's downtown, you'll have reserved parking. The pretty little patio out back is furnished with comfortable furniture, and there's even a charcoal grill for a nice open-air meal. No matter what events or activities you'd like to enjoy in Bandera, you'll have the comfort of knowing that getting "home" afterward won't be a complicated hassle. Smoking is allowed at the 11th Street Ace, but only outside.

Sophisticated Western decor graces the interior, with plank wood floors and barn board furnishings. A queen and a twin bed provide feather-soft sleeping accommodations for up to three people, and this is a kid-friendly rental. The full bathroom is equipped with a shower stall, and all bedroom and bathroom linens for your stay are provided. The kitchen station here is furnished with a microwave, regular coffee maker, and mini fridge. Finally, central air conditioning and heating, along with a ceiling fan, provide adjustable indoor comfort.

The cowboy heritage of Bandera makes it a popular and exciting Hill Country town to visit, and the Bandera Boarding House puts you smack dab in the middle of all the action! Backroads Reservations would be proud to assist you in booking this wonderful cabin hideaway.

This was very cozy and convenient! Right next to 11th street cowboy bar! Very fun, very clean, yet quiet. Close parking too and if you’re anything like me I pack a lot so that was nice! Met the owners and they were sweet as well. Definitely recommend this place!
