If you possess historical curiosity, the next time you’re in Llano you should pay a visit to the Llano County Historical Museum! The museum’s home itself is historic; it was built as the Bruhl Drugstore in 1900, and was donated to the Llano County Historical Society as a safe home and showcase for the county’s history. The original soda fountain from Bruhl’s is still here, as are dozens of exhibits that highlight the people and events of Llano County from ancient Native Americans to modern day. The Llano County Historical Museum is open Wednesday to Saturday from 10 AM to 4 PM; special exhibit hours can be arranged.
