The folks at Southold Farm + Cellar in Fredericksburg follow a philosophy that every wine is unique in style and taste, much like individual children. As a result, their fine Texas wines will vary from year to year, and that variety is all part of the excitement of the wine tasting experience. A tasting here includes four wines, and a vineyard history presented by their knowledgeable staff. Tastings are available by reservation only, and guests are invited to enjoy the grounds with a glass or bottle at their leisure afterward. Southold Farm + Cellar is open from noon to 5 PM Thursday through Monday.
