Hands down, a tasting at Fredericksburg’s Rhinory is one of the most unique experiences you’ll find anywhere in the world! The owners went on a safari in South Africa and witnessed rhino poaching first hand; this compelled them to create a safe “reserve population” of rhinos in Texas, out of the reach of illegal poachers. Their beautiful 55-acre Hill Country spread is a combination winery and rhino reserve, and you’ll have the opportunity to admire these majestic and endangered creatures as you sip a fine vintage. The Rhinory is open seven days a week from 11 AM to 5:30 PM, and reservations are strongly suggested.
