Are you trying to find the perfect Hill Country getaway for a large group of family and friends? 3H Ranch Mountain Retreat offers the space, privacy, and flexibility that big groups need — all set on a scenic 60-acre ranch in the heart of the Texas Hill Country.

Located between Medina and Vanderpool, this retreat is close to Bandera, Tarpley, Medina, Utopia, and Vanderpool, with Lost Maples State Natural Area and Hill Country State Natural Area within a short drive. History lovers will appreciate the nearby ghost town of Tuff, located along the same road as the property.

A spring-fed creek and private pond sit less than a minute’s walk from the home. Guests can enjoy catch-and-release fishing, kayaking, tubing, or relaxing by the water (water levels may vary). Wildlife sightings are common, and evenings are best spent under the stars around the fire pit or gathered on the shaded patio with plenty of seating and a picnic table.

Inside, this remodeled 1960s ranch house blends rustic character with comfort. Wood accents and corrugated metal details give the home a warm Hill Country feel, while thoughtful updates make it well-suited for group stays. The home features five bedrooms, two-and-a-half bathrooms, and ten beds, comfortably accommodating up to 16 guests.

The large kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances, ample pantry space, and everything needed for group meals. Two dining areas and a bar with seating make it easy for everyone to gather together. Additional indoor spaces include a dedicated office/work area, a TV room, a living room with multiple seating areas, and entertainment options like a pool table. Wi-Fi is available throughout the home (cell service is limited, and Wi-Fi calling is recommended).

Fresh bed and bath linens are provided. Washer and dryer access is available. Window AC units are used for cooling during warmer months and are turned on in advance for guest comfort.

Please note: Pond levels may be lower than shown in photos, and the floating dock may not always be in use.
