A Place on Pecan in Bandera

Property Type : Houses

Property Description

Don't let the unassuming name of A Place on Pecan in Bandera fool you! Logically enough, this wonderful vacation home is located on Pecan Street, which puts you right in the heart of the Cowboy Capital of the World. Main Street is less than a half a block away, and it's a short stroll to Bandera City Park and its access to tubing, fishing, swimming, and kayaking on the Medina River. No matter what the folks in your group are interested in, there will be something close in Bandera to excite them!

A Place on Pecan is a 1930s-era stone bungalow that's been fully remodeled; it retains its classic charm while offering fun and functional modern amenities. Its original carriage house still stands out back, too! Another unique aspect is that it shares a back fence with one of our other properties, the Cherry Street Star. This means you can double the backyard space and sleeping space from four to eight people, making it a perfect setup for a two-family getaway.

Outside, A Place on Pecan features shaded patios both front and back, and should the early evening skeeters become an issue, half of the back porch is screened in so you can enjoy the breezes and the views without buzzing intruders! There's a big back yard, and a gas grill on which you can whip up a tasty Texas BBQ. The property also includes covered parking for your car or truck.

The inside spaces here are decked out beautifully with wood and stonework, including everything from custom molding and trim to a sliding barn door entrance to the second bedroom. Every inch of the place is climate-controlled, with central air and heat and ceiling fans. There's a comfy and welcoming living area, which flows into the dining space and full kitchen. This space includes not only bar seating, but a dedicated workstation and smart TV, too! The kitchen is equipped with modern appliances, a walk-in pantry, and plenty of cookware, dining ware, and utensils. You'll also find a walk-in laundry room for your convenience!

The two bedrooms here provide sumptuous sleeping space for up to four people. The first bedroom features a queen-sized bed, with a plush and comfy king in the second. Each bedroom has its own full bath with a roomy walk-in shower stall, and both bedrooms feature custom armoires for storage, too! Cleanup and sleeping spaces all include fresh and clean linens for your stay, as well.
