Sotol Hill Lighthouse

Property Type : Guest House

Property Description

A budget-friendly vacation rental shouldn't mean compromising luxury and quality, and the Sotol Hill Lighthouse shows how it's done! This delightful cabin in the heart of the Hill Country is the perfect spot for a romantic weekend. It's remote and private, in a scenic natural setting, yet it's only ten miles from the night life and shopping of downtown Kerrville. It's loaded with comfortable amenities and down-home Texas charm, proving a fantastic vacation doesn't need to be a wallet-buster.

This adorable tiny home cabin is nestled on four acres, providing plenty of space for hiking, exploring, and wildlife watching. It's surrounded by miles of roads that allow you to tour the majestic beauty of the Hill Country, and it's just ten minutes from popular Guadalupe River recreations such as tubing, kayaking, and swimming. Reward yourself with a stay at this peaceful hideaway, with Hill Country views that go on for miles!

A shaded L-shaped deck, outfitted with plenty of patio furniture, is a great place to enjoy those views, have an intimate conversation, or just kick back and relax in the natural beauty surrounding you. Whip up a romantic meal for two on the charcoal grill, and admire the countless, sparkling stars in the wide open Texas sky on a clear night. Smoking is allowed at the Hilltop Cabin, as long as you keep it outdoors.

Cozy and comfortable are the keys to the interior here. There's a full bath with a shower, and a soft and relaxing queen-sized bed that accommodates up to two adults (the couch in the living area can also sleep one small child). Heating and cooling units provide comfort, and several windows allow the natural light and beauty to come indoors. The kitchen has a mini fridge, toaster oven, microwave, hot plate, and complimentary bottled water and snacks are included, as are all bed and bath linens. A TV with DVD player, stereo with CD player, and reading materials are provided for your entertainment. There is no Wifi in the cabin; however, the cell signal here is great.

The Sotol Hill Lighthouse is the ideal location for your hilltop hideaway! This mountain view vacation rental is the perfect combination of a breathtaking natural setting, indoor and outdoor comfort, and proximity to a wide variety of Hill Country attractions. Contact us at Backroads Reservations, and we'd be proud to help you make that romantic vacation a reality.
