Property Description

Bandera is one of the most popular towns to visit in the Hill Country, and the Texas Two Step puts you in the heart of it all! This is a kid and pet-friendly guest home that sleeps up to eight, and it's located six blocks from Main Street in the Cowboy Capital of the World. That means it's not many steps for you to do your own two-step at the 11th Street Cowboy Bar, dinner at the OST, or to enjoy many of the town's shops, restaurants, and cowboy-themed attractions. This is how you enjoy Bandera!

Also popular in Bandera is the Medina River's tubing, swimming, fishing, and kayaking, and the Texas Two Step puts you right in the action there, too! It's a block from Bandera City Park, where you can access the river for a modest fee. This alone makes the Two Step's location attractive to visitors, and as a bonus it's a 15-mile drive to the pristine beauty of the Hill Country State Natural Area. You can also enjoy horseback rides from an outfitter two blocks away; you can't get more Texas than that!

At the Two Step, you'll find entertainment literally in your back yard! There's a shaded patio with comfy outdoor seating, a fire pit to gather round for s'mores and conversation, and a gas grill where you can showcase your BBQ skills. You can play games like corn hole (bags), horseshoes, and a giant four-in-a-row setup, a jumbo version of the popular board game! Birdwatchers love the feathered friends that stop by here, and there's also covered parking for your vehicles.

The vacation home has recently been remodeled, including central air and heat for adjustable comfort. Your interior space includes a living area, a lower lounge, and a dining area and kitchen island with additional prep space and seating. The full kitchen is equipped with gleaming new appliances and all the cooking and dining ware, utensils, and glasses you'll need. Complementary coffee and spices are included, too! Tech-wise, there are three smart TVs in the Two Step, and Wifi service everywhere. You'll also find a convenient laundry room near the lower lounge.

There's sleeping space for eight at the Two Step; three bedrooms feature one king and two queen-sized beds and two air mattresses you can place where you please. The master bedroom's full bath has a shower/tub combo, and a second full bath with a shower stall is shared by the other bedrooms. Fresh and clean linens are provided for all sleeping and bath spaces.

Beautiful place with amazing hosts! They were really easy to work with and friendly. Would go through them any time and continue looking for their places just based on the types of people they are!
Mike
Book this property right now! You will not be disappointed! My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary and it was more than expected. The pictures do not do it justice! It has a lot more space than what I thought it would and there is absolutely anything you could need for cooking including some spices and oils, and of course coffee. The hosts are close by on the property and communication was excellent and so friendly! The views are breathtaking even when it's cloudy and rainy. This was a perfect spot to get away and relax!
Susan
We had a wonderful stay!! Clean, comfortable, and spacious. We would definitely stay here again.
Sharon
We stayed here with our two dogs for a weekend wedding in Bandera. The place was absolutely lovely—the backyard was huge and great for the dogs, we loved the covered backyard area, the bed was comfy, and the bedroom was quiet. Additionally, my husband and I were so impressed with all of the extra amenities—it was like they had thought of everything you might want or need. The place was super clean and updated too. We had a lot of extra space and paid a premium for just two guests here but it was such a lovely place to stay with our dogs that it seemed worth it. We’d recommend to others and come back!
James
The overall stay was great the house was very nice and had everything you could need. The backyard had a great setup from the sitting area to the fire pit in the yard. The house happen to be in a great location to everything in town thank you very much.
Myra
We had a wonderful stay at this charming house in Bandera, Texas. The house was impeccably clean and beautifully decorated with great attention to detail, making it feel welcoming and comfortable. The beds were quite firm, which wasn't my personal preference, but the bedding was soft and cozy, ensuring a good night's sleep. The TV room was another highlight—comfortable seating and a working TV made for a perfect movie night. The backyard was a true gem, thoughtfully designed to cater to all our needs, and we were delighted to see several deer during our stay, which added a special touch to our experience. The location was ideal, just a short distance from downtown, making it easy to explore the local restaurants and shops, which we thoroughly enjoyed. Overall, this house exceeded our expectations, and we would definitely recommend it to other travelers. We look forward to returning in the future!
