Property Description

This luxurious yet affordable Medina River cabin is one of the most unique lodging rentals we have available for our visitors, and a lot of that is due to its one-of-a-kind location. It's tucked away in a peaceful and cypress-lined cove on the Medina, yet it's in Bandera, the Cowboy Capital of the World, with all the popular hot spots and shops only blocks away. Kids and pets are both welcome here, which makes Lambert Park a perfect Hill Country getaway, no matter who you decide to bring along.

All the fun, adventure, and relaxation the scenic Medina River has to offer is practically at your doorstep here! You can fish and swim, or just decompress in the hammock on the river's bank. The river's also famous for its tubing trips, and Bandera's rental shops and drop-off spots are all close to the cabin, as well. Lambert Park is one of the rare places where you can watch abundant natural wildlife and enjoy some wild life of your own in Bandera's famed honky tonks and live music venues.

The spacious shaded porch and football field-sized yard face the river here, and it's all tricked out with comfortable outdoor furniture and porch swings. While you kick back outside, try your hand at a hearty and savory Texas-sized barbecue on the combination charcoal grill and smoker! The wildlife and breathtaking views that have made the Hill Country famous are yours to admire along the Medina, with the Wild West history and shops of the Cowboy Capital of the World just a short walk away.

The moment you step inside, the big, soft sofa and recliners in the living room reflect the overall comfort of this pretty cabin. Two bedrooms, one furnished with a king-sized bed and the other with a queen, offer supreme sleeping comfort for up to four guests, and the entire interior space is kept even more comfy with central heat and air. The kitchen's fully set up with a stove, fridge, microwave, and coffee maker, and utensils and bed and bath linens are all included during your stay. High speed internet, a TV with Roku service, and a local phone land line are among your tech extras here, along with excellent in-town cell coverage.

The Cowboy Capital of the World: Why Bandera Still Rides Tall

There are towns in Texas with cowboy roots — and then there’s Bandera. Nestled along the Medina River, surrounded by rolling hills and wide-open ranchland, Bandera isn’t just proud of its heritage — it lives it every day. Known far and wide as the Cowboy Capital of the World, Bandera embodies the spirit of the Old West with a genuine authenticity that’s getting harder to find. Here, boots aren’t just for show, rodeos still pack the stands, and a handshake still means something.

The Spirit of the Hill Country: Where Texas History and Adventure Meet

There’s a certain feeling you get when you step into the Texas Hill Country — a quiet mix of wonder, freedom, and belonging. Maybe it’s the wide skies that stretch forever, or the way the hills catch the evening light just right. Maybe it’s the old stone towns, where history whispers through limestone walls, or the rivers that carve their way patiently through time. Whatever it is, this place has a spirit all its own. It’s rugged yet graceful, wild yet welcoming — the kind of place that invites you to explore, stay a while, and remember what life feels like when it’s simple and real.

We came up this weekend to run Hoka Bandera and really felt like this was a home away from home to relax before and after running. My kids were fascinated by the roaming deer and had fun scouting them out. Thank you!
Carla
Comfy home on a quiet street with lots of deer. Backyard over looks the riverbed, which was dry when we were there. There is a chair swing which is the perfect spot to have coffee in the morning or an adult beverage in the evening. King bed was very comfortable and air conditioning works great. Home is approximately a mile from downtown. Make sure the hummingbird feeder is full, they are very entertaining.

Five-star hospitality! Our power went out due to the snow storm and Spencer went above and beyond to help me with a last-minute, late-night reservation in Bandera at great little cabin. His help kept my kids from freezing all night!

We enjoyed our stay at Lambert Park very much. The property is very beautiful with great views, birds and other wildlife, and the house and particularly the back yard are very comfortable and nice for relaxing. A great jumping off place for exploring the Hill Country.

Went for a last minute getaway with my kids before school! So thankful that this home was available. It was perfect for us! Loved the hammock and all the friendly deer everywhere. We found a special place in the Medina River, off hwy 16, in Medina with little waterfalls and rope swings and the kids snorkeled. It was beautiful and we were the only ones there!! Priceless!! We also went to Garner State Park one day and the Frio River was so clear and beautiful!! Restaurants in Bandera are great!!! Everyone was SO friendly too!! Loved it!!!

Lambert Park is a cute house on the Medina River in Bandera, Texas. It is one of the most peaceful places we have stayed. It is right down the road from all the fun in town, but is a very private and quiet place to unwind. We have stayed there twice and absolutely love it! The back yard is my favorite! We smoked a brisket and enjoyed watching all the deer. Will rent again and recommend the cabin to couples or families to enjoy! :)
