Biker Rallies of Texas

Supporting and boosting local businesses and events is at the very heart of what we do at Backroads Reservations! The good folks at Biker Rallies of Texas are the devoted organizers of the most popular motorcycle rallies in the Hill Country. With major rallies in the spring and fall, they work nonstop to assure safety, organization, great memories, and a good time is had by all attending! They’ve got their start in 2000, when they arranged rallies in Liberty County and Kerrville, Texas. Two years later, they found their permanent home in Bandera. Let’s take a look at the two major events they currently host.

Boerne’s Hill Country Mile

In the hustle of modern American life, it’s easy to lose sight of an important cultural fact: it’s difficult to get everything done on your daily to-do list without a car. Too many towns have been designed with outwardly-expanding sectors of commerce that put one business or attraction miles away from another. The larger the size of the town, the more true this adage seems to be.

We had a wonderful time in Bandera. This cottage is so cute and well-equipped, and quite spacious. We really appreciated the thoughtful amenities such as shampoo and towels, cokes and condiments, and plenty of space for everything. We saw both white tailed and axis deer and fed them with the corn provided. Very fun and relaxing. Great quiet natural setting. We enjoyed the restaurants in town as well. Would definitely stay again.

Really enjoyed the stay at the Lake Hiawatha cabin. It had plenty of space and a great porch to relax. I had asked about the water level beforehand and was told it was pretty low. You could still see water though and these beautiful plants (camphor, I think) were in full bloom filling the dry lake bed area with pink blooms. It was lovely even without a full lake. We saw cranes, ducks, and fed the deer after dark. Also cooked on the barbeque grill. The kitchen was wonderful and well stocked. The coffeemaker is a 12 cup which was better than the description. Barely any cars at all passed on the road in front, so it was extremely quiet and private. The bed in the master bedroom may be the most comfortable bed I've ever slept on. Wish I had that bed at home. It's a compact house, the bathroom opens directly to the living room. One thing I will mention is that the TV is very small, like the size of a computer screen. So if TV is important to visitors, this cabin would not be a good choice. For me, it was not a problem.

A very clean, neat, and organized small cottage in a quiet country setting. If you enjoy nature and wildlife at it's best then you couldn't ask for more. The small but active little town of Bandera is a place all should experience.

Home was great. Nice and clean and very cozy. Took my wife for our anniversary was just the tight place. Close to the town beautiful area. Water was low by the lake but the Bandera park is right around the corner. Bed was great house had sanitizer sprays and wipes that was a plus for me shows they care for us as well as their health. Really awesome place and they respond back fast if you need to ask them anything.

The town of Bandera is so very cool. A short drive through a quiet neighborhood and you’ll find this sweet little cottage. A shallow lake behind the house attracts birds and wildlife galore. We spent many hours relaxing under the covered porch. The house is well stocked. Definitely stay next time we are visiting the area.
Lynn
The location of this was wonderful. It was only about a mile and a half into Bandera, but quiet and peaceful, with lots of nature. The lake was almost dry, which is to be expected in a Texas summer. Deer corn was left for us to put out and we saw more deer than we have ever seen. The property is a good size and the cottage was just the right size. We loved our stay!
