Property Type : Guest House

Property Description

Elevate your next vacation with a stay at the Tree House Cabin at 7 Canyons Ranch! This romantic and unique tree house rental is surrounded by some of the most amazing views of the Texas Hill Country region, and it's an ideal private hideaway for couples or those adventurers traveling solo. Guests here will enjoy the ideal combinations of simplicity and style, economy and luxury, and history and outdoor beauty-all in the neighborhood of nearby towns like Tarpley and Bandera.

Who says tree houses are just for kids? This property is kid-friendly, but our adult guests might want to keep this place all to themselves when they visit! The Tree House Cabin provides a budget-friendly weekend getaway without sacrificing quality or comfort. You'll see that from the moment you climb the steps to the intimate, tree-shaded deck.

The owners of the ranch keep the ponds and water areas open to the wildlife in the area, so nature lovers are in for a treat when they visit here. The ranch also features over ten miles of hiking trails-all the more convenient for savoring the impressive Hill Country vistas. You are also able to fish here (seasonal), and a charcoal grill is also provided on the property-though please bring your own charcoal. Smoking is allowed on the property, but only outdoors. It can be tough to convey just how pretty and calming the views of the surrounding hillsides are from this canyon setting, but trust us-one look and you'll be hooked!

The light-paneled interior here is generously decorated with vintage furniture and accents from the Lone Star State's history. The bedroom features a king-sized bed that sleeps up to two, and a balcony that opens up to those beautiful Hill Country views. The bathroom is equipped with a shower stall, and all bed and bath linens are provided. In the kitchen, you'll find a stove top, microwave, mini fridge, and coffee maker, along with a comfortable dining area. Central air, heating, and ceiling fans keep the inside comfy year-round, and WIFI Internet is available-but please note the cell and WIFI service can be spotty in this valley location.

When was the last time you took a relaxing weekend trip? Climb up into the Tree House Cabin at 7 Canyons Ranch, and let your daily grind and pressures melt away in this peaceful and relaxing Hill Country setting. One call to us at Backroads Reservations, and you'll be on your way!

My fiance and I had an amazing time. Seeing all the animals was incredible. Being greeted by the zebra when we first pulled through the gate was awesome, and very surprising. We would definitely do it again.

Perfect spot for my wife and I to get away to. The Hill Country combined with wonderful hiking trails and both native and exotic wildlife all around. The Tree House was cozy, well designed and decorated with the perfect feel for the area. Will definitely come back as soon as possible.

The Treehouse Suite is a great way to get to get off the beaten path! We used it as “home base” to tour the three local state parks / nature areas (Garner, Lost Maples & Hill Country) as well as local rivers and the towns of Bandera and Utopia. We loved that we could go hiking on the property and the home itself was very comfortable (especially the bed!). It was an excellent way to spend our Father’s Day weekend away from home!

The 7 Canyons Ranch is majestic secret of the hill country for sure. We woke up every morning to elk bugling, wild turkeys roosting along the hillside behind the house and Mule deer foraging near the ponds. It was almost like a fairy-tale. The apartment we stayed in was well furnished and super comfortable. The host was very responsive and accommodating on very short notice. We would definitely recommend this spot to anyone wanting a weekend getaway or a home away from home.

We stayed at the treehouse for a 3 day weekend and it was perfect for us! The grounds are absolutely breath taking and perfect for hiking and taking in the scenery. We even got to say hi to the donkey and zebra that live on premises. There are a lot of deer as well. There are two country cats that hang out on the front porch who love attention! I’m pretty sure we were the only people on the property (there is a lodge and a couple of other structures on the property) but we didn’t see any other guests or ranch employees. We loved the seclusion away from everything. It gets very dark at night and the stars are bright. The treehouse is decorated so cute and the bed is very comfortable. The host was very responsive to messages. There is wifi but no cell service in the area. We will definitely be coming back!!
