We have been to Medina 5 times and this was by far the best time we had . Place was beautiful and clean. The river location was very nice. Kid friendly my children had a blast. We got to see Deer and their babies right by the porch. We brought family over for their first time and they cant wait to be back. Host has amazing communication , they were very accommodating.
Chris
Extremely quiet area and low key town to relax in. House was clean, big, and all to ourselves. Deer freely march through the yard on a regular basis and the property is a huge 10 acre area to explore all the way to the river. The town is great, and if you're there on a weekday go to The Core for a breakfast buffet that is well worth the price. Great stay, no issues!
Jennifer
Great location with private river access. Kept kids entertained with river and plenty of wildlife. Close to Bandera with shopping, entertainment and great food! Could not have asked for a better escape from the screens and reconnect as a family. Thank you for sharing your space with us! We will be back!
Matthew
This was perfect for my family of four! This place was very spacious for us, very quiet, and also the host was very accommodating to my schedule. I was able to check in early and late. If you are looking to drink, eat, BBQ, star gaze and be able to have a great nights sleep go here.
Marta
My family and I had an amazing time at the cabin, we even talked about coming back in the future because we loved it so much. We loved the atmosphere, the fresh air. The fact that we could literally walk to the river and have an awesome time. It was so quiet and relaxing to be there. A huge plus for us, was the privacy and how homey the cabin felt. The kids did not want to leave, they loved the fact that they could run around outside and it was safe. Oh, they loved how close the deers got to the cabin. We also got to see a few rabbits hoping around. Such a beautiful place to stay at with your family, definitely worth the drive. The host were also so kind and always checking up to make sure we were okay. Definitely felt the happy calm vibes at the cabin! Private note: We appreciate you sharing your beautiful cabin with us. We loved staying there, it’s such a neatly and well kept cabin. Thank you once again for everything.
Barbara
We were needing to get away for some quiet and relaxing time and this place had it. The house was great and had everything we needed but the location was the best. We walked down to the river and sat on the back porch watching the variety of wildlife that came out to eat the corn that we threw out. Besides the whitetail, we had black buck, axis, wild pigs, and mouflon sheep. We did go for a drive through the hill country and then stopped in town at the apple store and had lunch and brought some delicious apple pie back with us. We will definitely be back when we can stay a little longer.
