The Spirit of the Hill Country: Where Texas History and Adventure Meet

There’s a certain feeling you get when you step into the Texas Hill Country — a quiet mix of wonder, freedom, and belonging. Maybe it’s the wide skies that stretch forever, or the way the hills catch the evening light just right. Maybe it’s the old stone towns, where history whispers through limestone walls, or the rivers that carve their way patiently through time. Whatever it is, this place has a spirit all its own. My wife and I recently enjoyed a delightful stay at the Casita at Pipe Creek. The location was fantastic—peaceful and scenic, yet conveniently close to Boerne, TX, where we spent most of our time. The cabin was cozy and provided all the essentials for a comfortable stay. We appreciated the tranquility and the natural beauty surrounding the property. It was the perfect retreat after a day of exploring the local area. As a friendly suggestion, updating the decor and giving everything a thorough dusting would enhance the overall experience. These were minor issues that didn't detract from our enjoyment but could make future stays even better. Overall, we had a lovely time and would recommend the Casita at Pipe Creek to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

Went to celebrate my Mom's 70th Birthday. Drove up to a smiling host (Keith) that welcomed us and let us know to reach out if we needed anything. The space was as described, great AC, great hot tub, great water pressure and over all very peaceful. The mornings were so nice to sit out on the swing and enjoy the view with some coffee. We were visited by come beautiful cardinals and deer. Had a few questions and Shirley was quick to respond and very helpful. We wound up enjoying some great convo with Shirley and Keith and just had an overall great trip. Definitely recommend if you're looking to getaway and feel at peace with the place you are visiting. Hope to go back soon and often!

Me and my Daughter enjoyed our stay and Shirley and Keith (the owners) were so kind! Everything we needed was in the cabin! We also learned about plants from her huge garden! Deer came right up to the back porch! The views are breathtaking from the covered patio! Can’t wait to visit again! Thanks again
