Cast a line, shoot the rapids or float a two mile private stretch of the Guadalupe River. Situated on nine beautiful acres, River House has acess to 500 spectacular feet of private, park like river frontage with magnificent boulders, rapids and pools of water for catch and release fishing, swimming or floating. There is also a forested hill to hike up behind the house.

This well appointed house is five miles from Kerrville and offers three bedrooms, two with Queen beds and the third with a twin bunk bed, a large living room with fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, two full baths, and a laundry area. The large screened front porch that runs the length of the house has a hammock and sitting areas. Amenities include satellite TV in the living room and the master bedroom, local TV with DVD in the third bedroom, wood burning Franklin stove in the living area, washer dryer, central air and heat and charcoal grills at the river and at the house. All bed and bath linens are provided. This is an ideal family destination with Kerrville’s shopping, movie theatre complex, restaurants and attractions just minutes away. No telephone but good AT&T cell coverage.

  • Normal check in time 3 P.M.

  • One very well behaved dog allowed per stay – 30 lbs. or smaller
  • $10 per day dog fee
  • No firearms, fireworks, campers, RVs, ATVs or four wheelers allowed
  • Smoking outside only – cleaning fee applies if any butts are left on property
